WELL-BEING IN YOUR WORKPLACE
MOTIVATE ENERGISE BALANCE
Taking care of your employees & yourself means taking care of your business & your future.
My aim is for employees to learn simple techniques derived from yoga that can easily be incorporated into their day, which could prevent future burnout.
Techniques include gentle movement, meditation & breath practices. It is possible to do a session as a team or with individuals where we can focus on creating a personal practice which can enhance the wellbeing of an individual & their working environment. Research has proven that wellbeing practices in the workplace are having an invaluable positive result.

WHAT THE RESEARCH SAYS...
IT'S ALL GOOD!
Corporations realised $3 – $6 in savings for every $1 invested in yoga and wellness programs for employees. More than 25% average reduction in health-care costs.¹
NHS (National Health Service) employees attending yoga classes for 8 weeks missed only two days a year compared to those who were not practicing who missed 36 days a year for the same medical conditions. 'Our findings suggest that yoga programmes consisting of stretching, breathing, and relaxation methods can reduce sickness absence due to back pain and musculoskeletal conditions.'²
The findings of this study suggest that yoga has a positive effect on health in the workplace, particularly in reducing stress, and no negative effects were reported in any of the randomized controlled trials.³
Results: One-hundred fifty-five employees completed the study. The yoga group showed significant (p < 0.05) improvement in pain, perceived stress, fatigue, and QoL domains after three months compared to baseline. The waitlist group showed no significant improvement in any of the measures. In the post scores comparison between the groups revealed a significant difference between the groups.⁴

ABOUT ME
My experience in the workplace has shaped my career as a yoga teacher & therapist. I have worked in Marketing & branding companies in London as an Account Manager & Production Coordinator as well as teaching English to professionals in the largest corporate English academy in Bangkok before moving to France where I taught English in companies & also in Wall Street before deciding to work with yoga full time.
When I was teaching English I noticed my students were often stressed, tired or had aches or pains from sitting at their desk. I was there to teach English yet I felt I could be more useful in sharing simple stretches or accessible breathing techniques.
When I had my first daughter I decided to stop teaching English & concentrate on yoga as a therapeutic practice instead. Something that I could share with others that could be beneficial physically & mentally.
I am a qualified & experienced teacher & therapist under the Yoga Therapy Association and I continue to take CPD courses on physical & mental health.
